Terms and Conditions

By accepting a quotation or engaging with Gas Specialist, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding our services, equipment, and installations.

Installation Terms & Conditions

1. Exclusions

This quotation excludes Plumbing, gas supply and gas cylinders. A separate quotation for these items can be provided upon request.

2. Validity & Pricing

This quote is valid for fourteen (14) days. Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in material and/or component costs.

3. Payment Terms

An 80% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quotation to initiate the order. The remaining 20% balance is strictly payable on the day of delivery or collection.

4. Lead Times

Installation will be scheduled within 2 to 5 business days from the date the deposit payment reflects in our account, subject to team availability.

5. Compliance & Certification

The Certificate of Compliance (CoC) will only be issued and released once full and final payment has been received and cleared.

6. Warranties

Equipment warranties are aligned strictly with the supplier’s/manufacturer's terms and conditions and are available upon request.

7. Ownership & Liability

All equipment remains the sole property of Gas Specialist until full and final payment has been received. Errors and Omissions Excepted (E&OE).

8. Site Preparation & Granite Modification

Gas Specialist does not accept liability or responsibility for the cutting or modification of granite countertops. This work must be undertaken independently by a qualified granite specialist.

Appliance Quotation Terms & Conditions

1. Exclusions

This quotation excludes gas installation, gas supply, and gas cylinders. A separate quote for these items is available upon request.

2. Validity & Pricing

This quotation is valid for 14 days. Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to cost fluctuations in materials or components.

3. Payment Terms

Full payment is required upon quotation acceptance to initiate the order.

4. Lead Times

Order processing and manufacturing take 10 to 12 working days from the date payment reflects in our account. Lead times may vary depending on seasonal demand.

5. Compliance & Certification

If we are not handling the installation, a valid Certificate of Compliance (CoC) from your installer is required to maintain the manufacturer's warranty on the appliance.

6. Warranties

Equipment warranties are strictly subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions and are available upon request.

7. Ownership & Liability

All equipment remains the property of Gas Specialist until payment is received in full. Errors and Omissions Excepted (E&OE).
